About This Group

Space for meeting What is it? - We can say that it's Wonn Refleksyon (round of reflection) where we gather to debate issues, to develop and to speak about all subjects. Talk about something that was not well done, share the good idea of how we can improve it. It's also talking about how we can do things better in the society. We are not doing politics, but all that is related to people's growth and community where people are living, these subjects agree good to develop. The greatest definition we can give it is: Come and sit down with us! Listen! Be responsible! It's a place where our children as well as teenagers gather in the organization to talk about what they observe in their surroundings, what they feel, what they like, what they don't like and bring an element of response on how they can do what's good in their life and help others as well to do what's good. We don't have s specific time neither time when we gather, but we can do that once a month; we can choose a day in the month to do that. Invite some leaders or some specialists in a particular domain to exchange ideas. Furthermore, taking notes on all that was part of the debate, analyzing them through our laboratory in order to able to publish a newsletter in Creole that will have as title: Wonn Refleksyon. I believe it's a good idea, isn't it? This will encourage all Haitians both in Haiti and in Diaspora to take an active part in its development. This newsletter will be a monthly one. It's a way to motivate all Haitians to read a lot. In general, it's being said that Black people don't like to read. We're not going to make difference while we are going to accompany the children and the teenagers of our organization to read more every day so that they can become productive in life. Even if you are abroad, you can participate in Wonn Refleksyon an. Don't hesitate to do that; do it your own way; it's your own contribution to help pulling out your country in the mud hole it has fallen. Sometime you'd like to give your participation, you don't know who you should address; why. Because you are afraid. Today, everyone is afraid of people. Man has become a wolf for man (as the Latin saying puts it , homo homini lupus). It's true you must be very careful. But this also requires to act. Don't stay with your arms crossed to let others do the things for you. When you do that, you become a sycophant. We ask you not to be afraid, on the contrary the invitation we launch to the entire Diaspora to get on the boat. When, today, they want to put all Haitians in Diaspora aside, they must not forget that those Haitians are the economic base for Haiti. They are the country's two wings. If those in Diaspora don't send transfer to Haiti, many people will die. We could also say: if the provinces don't bring food to the capital, well they won't be able to eat since gardens don't grow there. Friends, let's take advantage of this great opportunity offered to you to make us feel that you are alive (in the sense of thinking of helping Haiti). Haiti is your country; it's our country; that's where our umbilical cord was buried. Even if you've been living for more 20 years abroad but when it's time to return home, nothing will impede you from doing it. We must be conscious since today, give our participation (for example, your financial contribution to a noble cause for the benefit of Haiti's development) so that when you really decide to return home with no difficulty. You can offer yourself as volunteer who is helping an organization find great economic means to remain functioning and to work on its projects. So, don't waste time, ask for your own application by writing to the address below, and we'll be very happy to serve you. Thank you in advance for the collaboration you'll bring to the BATJDA organization! BATJDA P.O.BOX 15996, HT6140, Petion-Ville, Haiti. (W.I) Imel: batjdaayiti7@yahoo.com
